And--I'm happy to see that headboard, even if it is a little cheesy. I have been trying to figure out a way to have a headboard. Hmmmmm.

Am I the only one who would rather have opposing slides in the bedroom rather than the living room?

OK, and one more. I like the additional space in the kitchen area; there are more drawers and counterspace than in ours. BUT... I notice the heating vent in the bottom of the cabinets, which means that furnace ductwork will also move in and out with that slide.

Why not both? Personally I'd rather have the extra floorspace in the living area. I just don't care for the moving utilities and compromised awning space that go along with them.

I am more interested in finding a good floorplan with really usable space with the slides IN. When stopping overnight in a rest area or whatever, we don't put our slides out which makes for a "cozy" evening.

Like you, I don't like the hoses moving. If I ever get one with a slide on the passenger side it will have to have a Girard 2 stage awning so I don't lose patio space. I spend most of my time at the MH on the patio.

I keep thinking about all the "head busting" opportunities of that kitchen slide right there under the awning. Yikes. Oh--and the wiring/cabling for the outside TV will also be traveling with the slide.

Guess I don't want a 34T.

Interesting.. LaMesa has pictures of the 2015 34T on their website. It does NOT have the wide carpet strip on the street side slide as shown in the previous post here. I'm not particularly a fan of the moving kitchen either, but its getting hard to find one that does not have a kitchen slide.

One thing I am glad to see on the 34T is the front living area. I would absolutely not consider one with the mid-living area that we are beginning to see on more and more layouts. I want my living area built around my big picture window (front windshield)... not around a large screen TV hidden in the middle of the coach. But thats just me...to each his/her own.

That sums up exactly how we feel about these layouts. I really enjoyed the view out the windshield. I always tried to face North and never closed the shade until evening. Facing the back wall ( TV or no TV ) wouldn't appeal to me.
