New flooring Slide Clearance

We are installing LVP glue down flooring this week in our 2006 Revolution. I would like to lay down luan to make sure the surface is perfect as the flooring is only about 1/16” thick.

Will this be an issue with the drivers side slide scratching the flooring as it comes in? There is just carpet there now and the slide has pushed it into the middle of the coach over the years. My overall height will be about5/16”.

Are you wanting to install underpayment all over the floor?

You will have to glue and staple and use a floor patch, then sand the floor to make it “ perfect”
