Thanks Sarah. I agree, I thought so too.

The tech told me that was working on it yesterday it is live all the time.

That's what I thought originally, that it wouldn't extend when the engine was running, but it does.

I think I'd like a key to turn the switch on or off, that would be nice. And easy maybe.

Thanks Dave.

No, I'm not, I'm still waiting to talk to Julie....they haven't got the slide topper on yet, I guess it didn't get in because they didn't order it until last minute.....

She told me she was still waiting on the carrier for some last minute adders that have not been paid yet yesterday.

I was hoping to pick it up today, but now maybe tomorrow.

Ugh! But you can go look at it Dave! Its in the very first bay in the corner on the north side of the service shop. They had to put white vent covers on the roof vents (not smoke), gutter extenders on the front, slide topper on the galley slideout, and make sure the satellite was operating. I wish they would let you go look at the roof just for good measure......they might not let you get up on top though...anyway, that's only if you are inclined or wanting to....no worries otherwise!

Well, after all sorts of mass subterfuge, the final step/piece, the new galley slideout topper is now being installed.

Once the insurance company gets off its duff and calls CW I can pick up the coach, looks like tomorrow.

A lot of complaining and grumping to get this done this week, but it might be paying off, finally!!!!!

Well, I picked up the coach after a grueling inspection of all the systems to make sure everything was operating at CW on Saturday. All was well, great job! Ah, but wait.....

I get home, level the coach, extend the slides, plug in, turn on the A/C so I can do cleaning inside later.

Go back out to the coach 3 hours later and water is dripping inside on the dinette table which is about 1.5 feet aft and 1.5 feet port of the front A/C and intake.

From the pics, it was assumed there was a seal leak in the front A/C. See pic attached. I had water leaking in that area intermittently before and though it was a slideout seal until we saw the roof luan was slightly damaged from the attached pic before they put the new luan and rubber roof on. CW swears they replaced the A/C seals when they put the new roof.

They say now it could be a plugged drain tube in the front A/C????? Gads!

Well, that water made it from the A/C, must have followed the same old path and dripped inside again....all this under the new luan and new rubber roof.

I blasted CW about it and am waiting to find out what they are going to do.

UPDATE: I just now realized that was from the REAR a/c not the FRONT. but found another pic where it looks like BOTH of the A/C units were leaking.....

Kent--if it's a plugged drain tube, they probably won't take responsibility for it since it was that way before the roof replacement. Do you have a/c condensate "runoff" on the outside of the RV? I don't know anything about clearing the possible plugged drain, but it sounds like that needs to happen ASAP.

What a bummer.

I kind of thought that too Sarah, but they didn't even breathe a word of that. They acknowledged to me that are responsible for a brand new, leak free (inside and out) roof. That includes re-installing and inspecting the A/C units for leaks ESPECIALLY when the old roof showed the units were leaking in the seals.

The put new seals on when they re-installed but their analysis of the situation is that these A/C units (or one of them) may have a hairline crack in the water drain pan. They had a prior coach that was driving them crazy, couldn't see where it was leaking and that's what it turned out to be.

They are right on top of it and wanted the coach back right away, but I can't get it there till tomorrow.

Since it is a leak coming from within the A/C and inside, I'm not worried about rain (which we have had some wonderful rains yesterday and today AMEN) but they will figure it out tomorrow.

Will keep y/all posted. But I love the new roof/awning, etc.
