New shocks

Driving a 2006 Revolution LE. 50000 miles. Is it time to replace the shocks? If so what brand do you guys feel are the best? Love this coach and love all the info on this forum. Thanks on advance.

I put Koni FSD's on my Southwind and love'em....
It gave my coach a far much better ride than the stock Bilsteins.

Most people that get Koni's are very happy with them....
Many feel that the Bilstein's are too firm.....

Let's ask....Has anyone with Koni shock absorbers been dis-satisfied?

The problem with the question is that the answer cannot be relied upon for any real meaning or accuracy. The high cost of the Koni's tends to make people reluctant to admit that maybe they (the Konis) really aren't perfect after all. Expressing dissatisfaction is akin to admitting you made an expensive mistake.

Individual preference is just too subjective.

I replaced the factory Bilsteins with Monroe Gas shocks and my butt and I couldn't be happier.

I have Koni FSD's on the rear and the older adjustable ones on the front. Koni doesn't make FSD's for our front axle and I have the adjustment all the way to soft and it's still a jarring ride.
When I was working with Reyco Granning to solve the ride problem they sent me several sets of Bilsteins, the last one was pretty close.
Now that Bilstein has the Comfitrac® ones for our axle I'm considering changing to them on the front only. That's what Reyco Granning is recommending also.
