My 04 37c has the piano hinge as well and I abandoned the flip idea because the bathroom is heated by the rear furnace which has a small output and needs the input thru the door to heat the room in the morning.Typically the furnaces are off at night and on my last trip to you know where,I flip on the furnace and pull the door wide open and when we finally get up,the bathroom is nice and warm.Privacy is still an issue.

Even our rear bathroom in the Revolution has the toilet paper holder inside the under sink cabinet door and the location and convenience is perfect. The paper is right at the knee when seated whereas to the back and side would only be awkward.

When we owned our 2003 Southwind 32V I did reverse the bathroom door. Actually, it was pretty easy.

I did a double flip of the door (end for end and inside to outside) which required reversing the door handle to keep the lock inside the bathroom. This also keeps the handle at the original height and maintains the space at the bottom of the door and the floor. Be careful when drilling the door jam for the receiver/striker plate as it is pretty thin. Mine did split because I stupidly didn't pre-drill the holes for the mounting screws.
