I received a letter from Fleetwood about it. I've posted it at MSN open roads

There are a couple of .gif files you can pull down from there.

Well then, don't use the caps. Also, try to tell us what your problem actually is, instead of complaining about where the NHTSA tells them where the exits need to be, and some nondescript problem with a table...

Anybody ever do the following? In our 32v the bathroom door opens out towards the bedroom exposing anyone in the front room to whatever stage of dress the person, who is coming out the bathroom, is in. Because we take our children's friends on our holidays, I have to get dressed in the BR for fear of scaring them silly. So my idea is to take the door, flip it and drill out a new latch hole on the opposite side. This would allow the door to open out to the front room and spare my children's friends the nightmares to come. Any thoughts or better ideas would be appreciated? One thing I have realized is that the door handle will be lower then in the original position.

Welcome OTRA to irv2 an congrats on your new rig
Your idea with the door sounds ok to me best to not shock the kids. Designers need to use the coach on a field trip maybe they would learn something. --"007"

Hello OTRA,

I've heard of others "flipping" the Southwind 32V bathroom door. It doesn't look too difficult, but I'd need to find a good filler putty to hide any holes, etc.

We thought about the door switch on our new 2006 32vs. What bothers me more is the silly location of the toilet paper holder, inside the sink cabinet. Aside from leaving a little looped through the door, does anyone have a good fix for this?

Also, has anyone else had a problem with their coach side door being really hard to open from the inside?

Rocky,
Inside the door is kind of a strange place for the TP roll, and I've thought about using a router to cut a slot in the door for it to hang thru. Haven't yet had so much of a problem with it that I'm ready to do that though.

Is the door sticking, or is the latch hard to work? If the door is sticking it may be because of uneven leveling jacks twisting the frame. From what I've read that can be a real problem - it causes the windshield to pop out or crack.

The door is just really hard to work, even on level ground.

Sounds like something the dealer should take care of under warranty before your year is up.

You bet. He is already on notice. I just figured it was something I could fix myself and save the 100 mile round trip.

I realize these original posts are several years old...but had to laugh at the "location of the toilet paper holder" notes. We also wondered who thought inside the undersink door would work!?! Relocated it beside the towel rack under the medicine cabinet. Never thought of switching the bathroom door opening. Our 2007 is attached with a very long piano hinge...not so easy to flip. Any other good ideas?

I don't know what the problem is. I have the toilet roll on the inside of the cabinet door with a slot for the paper to go through and it works just fine and is easily reachable.
