New to RVing - What does dash switch w/ musical notes on it do?
My family recently bought a 2002 Fleetwood Storm 30H. We've figured out how everything works except for one switch on the dash.
The switch is between the generator and auxilary battery switch to the left of the steering wheel (Ford F-53 chassis).
The switch has what appears to be a musical note on it and the words 'park' and 'travel' are above and below it on the dash.
Can someone tell me what this does? I've switched it but not noticed any difference. I'm thinking maybe an option we don't have?..

So would I still have to turn on the ignition key to run the radio? That is one thing that kind of bugs us now since the power step cycles in and out when the key is on and we open the door... I was getting ready to hard wire the radio to constant 12V to make this issue go away.
You need to test this but I think the object of the switch is so you don't need the key on to listen to the radio while camped and it will not draw down the starting battery.
I also turn off the stair when I park but not knowing what the switch did on the dash, I was turning on the ignition (accessory) which automatically retracts the steps unless the door is open. So when parked with the radio on, every time we'd open the door the steps would come out and every time we closed the door, they would go in.
I think the switch on the dash will solve that issue.
