No 110

I have a 2004 32’ Terra, all of a sudden I have an electrical problem that is driving me crazy. My 110 power has stopped working; I get no power to my MH. I have checked my power at the house and my cord, it seems fine. The generator is the same story. Where would I find the switch that determines shore vs generator? If there is no power in the coach, should the GFCI still pop in and out ( it doesn’t). Any help would be appreciated.

Typically the transfer switch will be located next to where the shore power cord enters the rv.

It sounds like you have a tripped breaker.

The systems is wired as follows. Shore power to one side of the transfer switch. Generator through a circuit breaker on the generator to the other side of the transfer switch. From the transfer switch the circuit goes to a power distribution panel. It is a small version of the power panel in your house. This panel has a main and multiple smaller breakers.

It sounds like the main breaker is tripped.

I am not familiar with your coach so I can not help locate the breaker. Perhaps others will know where to look. I would look inside cabinets and pull away covers, You are looking for breakers like you have in your home. Reset the breaker and your power should be restored.

Failing that you need a meter and start tracing the wiring.

GFCIs don't reset if there is no power going to them.

Do you have an inverter ? It may have a push button breaker on it.

The inverter shouldn't power the Air Conditioner though. Does that work ?
