New to me is this 2005 American Eagle. I purchased this in Texas and drove it to New Hampshire it's not quite summer up here yet, and find I need of some heat. The dash does not have any heat at all, I haven't been able to find out what provides the heat in the dash , is it hot water from the engine or is electric?

Your dash heat is provided by hot water from the engine.
Does the engine temperature gauge show normal operating temp? 190 Degrees?
The previous owner, being from TX, may have put a manual shut off in the heater hoses to help the dash air do a better job. Or if there are shut off valves back by the transmission ( these are emergency shut offs in case the hose leak) may be turned off ; mine look like garden hose taps.
I have pictures of my transmission, I'll see if they're in the photos.

Transmission pictures don't show the valves , but do have a picture of the heater box on the firewall , under hood above the gen set.

The X marks the heater hoses, look at all the hose you can see for a manual shut off valve.
The circle is around the hot water flow control valve , this one is electronic , yours may be too, if so make sure the wiring is properly connected as someone may have set the controls to max A/C then disconnected the wiring to stop the water flow.

That's not how mine works. Dash heat works like a typical car/truck. Coach heat comes from the engine, and must be activated by the thermostat mounted on the wall...just as if you were in a CG.
