No power to Power Gear Level Jack Controller

I thought I would share my experience with my jacks not working on my 1997 Fleetwood Discovery 36'. Last year it was the BCC circuit board by above the inverter. Changed that myself and everything worked fine till my last trip in October 2021. I could not get the power button to light up. I first searched for fuses blown, all good. I took the pad off the console next to the driver seat and all the power was good. After countless hours of research on the web, I found something about the dash "Park" light is on while the the ignition is in the on or running position. Well, it wasn't. After looking around under the floor where the brake pedal is located, there's some sensors to control brakes lights but none for the dash. I finally figured out the sensor must be in the back of the RV near the rear brakes because that's where the parking brakes are engaged. Sure enough I found the air line leading to the sensor that's bolted to the drivers side frame rail. There it was, a broken wire. I had to take the sensor out and attempt to reattach the wire. After doing so, the nuts were turning with the stud. Okay, call my local RV mechanic (B&D RV Repair in N. East, OH) where I buy my parts from and told him what I needed. Hopefully I should have the part in a couple days or so. He asked me to put the two wires together to see if that cures the problem. It did but the park light stays on naturally. At least I can use the jacks for now. I put the old sensor back in place with out the wires to keep dirt out of the system.
Hopefully this helps any of you out there having the same experience.

I believe the part you need is from Freightliner , so your RV shop might have a problem sourcing it .
Similar set up on my 99 XC chassis , two sensors tapped into the park brake air chambers ( black tube ) one for the dash warning light , one for the buzzer.

Skip426, yes that is correct. B&D already mentioned he has to order it from Freightliner. I guess he already came across this part before.
