NO water from hot water faucets
HELP!! 1994 Bounder. Flushed the hot water heater a dozen times, pulled the line off the back and cleaned the hose and check valve.....still no water coming out of all the hot water faucets. Anyone have any ideas??? Cold water runs great. The water pressure did go to 70psi at the gauge a few times at this park. Could it have caused the deposits to go past the check valve and block the lines? We filled the filter with CLR and ran it through the coach but it really didn't help the hot lines but the cold lines do run better. Anyone ever try to blow the lines out in reverse? Thought about using our compressor at each of the faucet lines and blowing into them.......any ideas or thoughts would be truly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time!

I would suspect either you didn't turn the WH by pass valves correctly, or that the check valve, (sometimes used in the hot water outlet pipe of the WH), has failed.

Thx Mel. Forgot to say, the coach doesn't have a bypass on it. When I took the check valve system apart to clean and look at, it was surprisingly really clean. I did make sure to install the valve back in the correct way..... used to manufacture superchargers so I know I did that right.....LOL.

Is that the check valve in the "hot out" pipe right near the WH tank?
BTW, I hear that some also have a 2nd check valve in the "cold in" pipe.
To see if that might be your problem connect city water to the system and open the P&T valve.

What happens when you pull the pop off valve on the water heater?

Tha Rooster, When I move, I use the pressure relief to take the air out when I rehook. Right now, just double checked and it spits the water out great....... so confused..... @Mel, yes, it is on the out line. I enclosed and image in hopes you see something I don't. Never even check the cold line for a check valve. The cold flows great and considering the tank fills up, I figured there wasn't a problem with the cold, I'll check though. Again, you guys are awesome!! Thank you

If your getting no water, it's the check valve. Either backwards or bad. If you get flow but no hot water it's your outside shower valves open.

Thanks Pete! I think I'm confused. On my outside shower, it was leaking (dripping) so I took both the hose fittings off and replaced the washers that go to the back holding the hoses to the faucet. The only valve that is on the unit is the on-off valve on the shower head, other than that, the hot and cold faucet valves. Is there another valve that I cannot see? Wow, I'd rather have full volume on the hot water faucets and it dripping outside that what I have now!!! Thank you again guys!!!!

I enclosed a picture of my outside shower, I can't seem to figure this one out...... I seem to get some hot water out of all the faucets but ONLY after going outside and turning one the outside faucets then turning them off. This really doesn't make any sense to me! Any ideas out there would be appreciated!

I notice on mine, if my outside faucet is not closed, I either will not have hot water or only luke warm. Either way, for the inside faucets to work right, the outside needs to be closed and never left open.

This is really weird...... The past few days, the water has worked great! It's now back to acting stupid. Is it possible that if I take out the outside shower and completely plugs the lines, it should work properly??? Please let me know if my thoughts are on the right track. You guys are awesome for all the help and thank you again!

Your original problem was that you were not getting any flow out of your hot water faucets. In that case the outside shower has nothing to do with your problem. The check valve collapsing internally is likely to be the problem
If the problem was that you were getting cold or just warm water out of the hot water faucet then it is either incorrect operation of the HWS bypass valves, or BOTH valves on the outside shower are on and the shower head shutoff valve is in the off position

Thx Tony. Yeah.at first no water at all from the hot faucets and then I went outside and turned the waters, both, on and then got water inside. Took the check valve out and cleaned it even though it was good and put it back in properly and a few days later, a trickle only out of the hot faucets again. ....
