Not chassis, but large slide topper service needed

Hello All,

We have a 06 Bounder 35E on a W-22 and are in need of service ASAP.

The large slide topper on a 35E is close to 17' long and extends appx. 30". Has anyone replaced a similiar sized slide topper? If so what was the appx. cost of replacement topper and labour? Would like just like a rough estimate so I know if I am getting a bum deal or not.

Also, anyone ever had any work done in Northeast Colorado or Southwest Nebraska and can make a service recommendation? Anyone ever hear anything about Maddox Motor RV Sales & Service in Sidney, NE or Floyds S & S in Scottsbluff, NE? I will be going on RVServiceReviews.Com to check later.

We had a weather front come through that raised hell with it while we were out. The front bracket separated from the sidewall of the slide. Thanks to anyone with any input.

My "small" 11' slide topper cost me $400 to have replaced here in Northern California.

When I go to work tommorrow, I'll pull my r.v. catolog, do you have a brand prference, my win. advent. 37 b coach came with A&E.
I replaced my large topper because it had a argument with a tree limb.
it was an easy job.

I changed both of my slide toppers myself just a year ago. I cannot remember the exact cost however, it was between $200 & $300 dollars for both. I purchased the new toppers from a Texas company. I'm sure you could find them on the net.

I did the bedroom myself and did have my wife help hold the main slide topper as I pulled it into place. Not a differcult job and the new topperts come with good instructions (which you can download from the web).
