These can be a bear to find. I searched all over to find mine and finally broke down and called Lazy Days Fleetwood dealership in Florida where the coach originally came from. The fellow in the tech department couldn't have been more helpful. He told me mine was tight against the left side of the steering column just below the edge of the dash pad. He also said I might have to move a wiring harness to see it. He was spot on.
Laying on your back sandwiched between the engine console and the seat craning your neck to see something is a real joy. The tech may have saved me a trip to the chiropractor. A couple puffs on a rescue inhaler brought me around quickly.
Mine is a 2002 Storm on a Workhorse chassis.

Being a Ford, yours is probably located inside the doghouse on the drivers side side wall.

I have the same chassis, same year, and with a fleetwood body on it as well. Mine is on the steering column, about 2 feet down from the steering wheel, and on the right hand side. it had a cap over the interface. Ignore the sticker on your air filter that says its obd1, and I can confirm with experience its OBD2.

As aservice manager it was up to me to find the obd port on many V10's. I always went for the easy way. Every motorhome manufacturer was different, because they all thought they had the best idea of mounting the port. The way that works every time is to go to the brake pedal. look for a wire bundle just behind the brake pedal. follow the bundle to the fuel pump reset button. (You need to know where this is any way, because you may hit a bad pothole some day and the fuel pump will think you wrecked and shut down the pump.) Follow the bundle from the reset button to the port. It will have a cover on it and is about 3/4 by 2 inches.

As the other poster said, there might be a OBDl sticker on the engine, but that is wrong. It is a OBDll.

Ford changed to the steering column in 1998.

Absolutely correct, My old eyes read 1989 not 1999, and my mind completely missed the V10. Time for new glasses.

Another member posted a bulletin , about coach manufacturers , failing to re-locate the connector from the shipping position , and the connector being hidden by the lower dash pieces.

Removal of a section of the lower steering column cover required to access.

You are right almost every time. I think we can give you a pass once in a while. Remember only one guy was perfect and you know what happened to him.

My obd2 port is exactly in the location displayed in that bulletin.

I actually used it the other day to read my fuel trim.
