OEM 300 watt inverter
My 2005 Bounder's original magnetec 300 watt factory inverter may be on its last legs. This inverter may no longer be available and I am wondering if anybody has replaced it and with what? Thanks.

Lots of possibilities, under 1000 watts, you need to look at your current set up's , wiring size and 12v circuit breaker protection; and size the replacement accordingly.
JMHO. For protecting electronics , look for pure sine wave inverter.
Got a ; Xantrex, PROwatt SW 600 , to replace my original 400 watt unit. No wiring up grade required.

Thanks for your feedback. Is the Prowatt switched like the original?

My original was a manual by-pass; as is the PROwatt.
I have to go to the inverter; in a back compartment to turn it on , and unplug a power cord from it, and plug in to a nearby outlet, to get shore power to the entertainment outlet.
A little inconvenient , but ok for the number of times I have to use it.

If you don't need a pass through, this one from Morningstar can be switched on and off.

My original powers the TV's and DVD player and has a wall switch in the bedroom. The fan is whining more and more and I leave it off to conserve battery when not using. Thanks.

There are many 3000 watt inverters.. I'd look for a good True Sine wave model.. The major issue you may have is the new one will likely be physically smaller than the old one.. and that is not much of a problem.
