Oil pressure switch
Mayday, mayday, mayday............
I have a 1998 Pace Arrow with GM 454, oil pressure switch started leaking, top broke off, attempting to replace it.........I'm an ASE certified master mechanic, an Airplane licensed mechanic, have the special oil pressure switch socket ( about 20yrs old) .......I can't get the bloody thing out. Socket won't fit between the switch and the block........anybody have any " tricks of the trade" to share?
I'd rather not remove the engine just to replace the switch.
Thanks in advance to ANY help you can give, I've been fighting it the past two days..........about ready to take up smoking again to calm the nerves.
