Opinions of current owners

We are looking to purchase a new AC DP sometime this year and I was wondering if any current owners have any "reviews" of their coaches thay would like to share?

Things they like, things they don't, what dealers to attempt to do business with, which ones to run the other way from.

Not just complaints (which seem to run rampant on forums) but happy stories too.

Currently we are focused on the American Eagle unit.

Thanks all.

Not the review you’re looking for, but our Tradition is 20 and still going strong. Build quality second to nothing in it’s class.
Good luck finding your perfect Eagle!

You will find that this topic is just like ford, GM, Dodge what ever they own they love and the rest is junk. No kidding.

Again like Rob_M said not really what you're looking for but my '04 American Eagle "J" turns 19 this year & this will be my 12 year owning it & it has been so good to me over these years as much as I want to upgrade to another one I just can't justify it. When you get your rig finally dialed in to your liking it's hard to give up that sense of reliability & knowing your coach inside & out to want to start over with another one. I do all my own maintenance. We all know they certainly don't come out the factory "perfect"...it's not if there will be issues it's how many & then deal with all that back & forth stuff. It's just the nature of the beast!

Thanks Angie, we had seen your video(s) prior.

Your videos are the best on the NET. They make the rest of the content out there look like Woody Woodpecker cartoons.

What's not to like with an intelligent, articulate, well informed and confident person going through the entire unit including a test drive.

Its almost like you are a marketing exec?

Our intent is to contact NIRVC for a quote on an order based on prior recomendations.

Thanks

What did you end up buying?

I’m curious — what did you end up doing? Did you buy the American Coach? I have a 2017 Monaco Diplomat (REV) which, like the Holiday Rambler in the post-Monaco production years, is a variation of American Coach models.

I loved my 2004 Tradition and it served us well after getting over a bunch of electronics issues (and obsolesence) around 2008). But that was when American was Fleetwoods premier line and customer service was outstanding. I don't think Rev Group is building to the same standards nor is Rev giving that level of service. Just my opinion, of course, but I'm still active in the American Coach Owners Group and try to stay abreast of the newer owners.

If I were buying a brand new coach in that class today, it would be a Newmar, e.g. a King Aire, Essex, etc.
