I had something similar on mine. Several of the screws pulled loose from the air that they were screwed into on I-40.
What I did is remove the door, mine are hollow core so not real heavy, couldn't find what they were mounted to and since the screws are about 2" long didn't want to risk anything longer going through the roof. I used several butterfly screws and prayed that the luan ceiling was secured tight enough to support them. So far still good.
Since then I have bought a borescope that connects to my phone using bluetooth. One of the TDL items is to run it up in the cavity and take a look, since I have the toilet room wall that shifts around too.
For the $30 I spent on it it has been worth it.
