Panel on passenger side that has the wind sensor

I have owned a 2011 32' SW for about 4 months. There is a panel in the upper cabinet on the passenger side that has the wind sensor light , and also several other indications such as Limit switch, door switch, patio switch, etc. My question is, when the patio cover is not extended can the wind sensor light be turned off, and if so where is the switch to do so, or does it just stay on all the time.

The wind sensor LED light you are referring to indicates power to the silver bell shaped wind sensor (switch) mounted on the end of the left awning rail. This LED is on all the time along with the other LEDs as long as the cable providing 12 vdc is connected to the box.

This box controls the Door Awning and Patio Awning.

While these LEDs only draw about 30 milliamps each and the entire box maybe 1-2 amps you can unplug the 12 volt cable to turn off the box and all the LEDs.

If the awnings are extend and the 12 volts is disconnected (I do this) and later you plug in the 12 volts the patio awning will retract automatically...so be prepared for that!
