Piezoelectric Igniter

In our 2015 35K Bounder, the stove top burner piezoelectric igniter ends aren't sparking correctly. It appears the electrical insolation material used was "heat shrink tube". As the burner got hot (go figure, a stove burner getting hot), the insolation shrunk and it's now sparking in the wrong place.

Has anybody experienced this and found a good work around/fix (besides using a lighter)?

Thanks in advance.

I have found this to be an issue after cleaning the stove if the tray that the burners go through is not seated correctly.

We had the same issue, just replaced the wiring, quite easy and as yet the piezo are still working. Just made sure that the wires were not touching the metal plate under them.

We got the wires from Mid America RV in MO
