Power doorlock quit working

We have a 2021 Discovery LXE 44H and the power door lock has recently quit working. When you try to activate it with the key fob, a sound can be heard coming from under the dash each time you press the button, but the lock doesn't move. I know it could be the actuator, was hoping someone else had this happen and it was a simple fix.

Look in the door frame and see if you have 2 brass contacts or a wire bundle going into the door. If you have the contacts, you can use a 9 volt battery against the contacts to test the actuator. If you have the wires, then you have to pull the handle and the trim to access the actuator to replace it. If it's under warranty, REV will replace the actuator. Simple fix for now is to use the key. Are you batteries charged up? You can reach out to any NIRVC for assistance with parts or repairs. Also, your selling dealer should be able to assist you as well.

Should hear it lock and unlock. To much pressure on the door lock will cause it not to work.

I had same trouble on my Fleetwood Expedition

If you have a set of contacts in the door and the door post they are probable dirty. Take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts. You can also use VERY FINE steel wool or sandpaper, but the pencil is easy
