Power Gear Leveler Conversion kit 359259

Has anyone had experience with the Power Gear leveler upgrade for the pre-2005 2-piece units (500457 control) ?

My 1999 PA Vision's leveler died. All tests point to a controller failure so it's either send the unit to M&M RV Electronics Repair for repair, or upgrade to the 359259 single piece newer version.

We were a power gear dealer. They make a great system. The problem is price. They are outragious in their prices. Waiter21 is working on a up to date power gear control system. He is much cheaper than power gear.
I would contact him before making a decision.
