Power Gear Leveling Hydraulic hose replace

I have bubbling on my hoses for my leveling system and in the process of having them replaced. I was quoted 3500, parts are approx 700 so about 2500 for labor. Anyone have this done or done themselves.

In 15 years as a Fleetwood dealer, I have worked on many power gear Jack's. Routing hoses is not that hard. Pressure wash before you start. That will keep a lot of sand out of your eyes. 2500.00 is VERY HIGH.

I replaced all my jack return hoses. If one breaks like mine did, your pump will never stop running and burn up as mine did. Its a thousand bucks a pop. My power down hoses were good and my power up hoses were bubbling. I am assuming you have the power down and up model. You can tell if it has two hoses to each jack. On on the bottom and one on the top. If it turns out you have this model? then disable the pump when not using it. You can PM me if you want details. I check the forum every couple of days. good luck. Gator 2008 Revolution.

I replaced all 3 of my hoses a couple of months ago. One of my hoses burst while i was up on the jacks and RV dropped about 8-10"... sickening feeling and AT fluid everywhere. I don't have auto leveling, so the pump did not continue to run. I think I spent about $300 for new hoses and did it myself. I would estimate maybe 3 hours total labor, so... you should be looking at maybe $400 labor + hoses + a gallon of fluid... so maybe $750 total?? It's not a difficult job, but is a messy one.
