Power Gear Slide Out Fix

The Bedroom slide out on my 1999 Pace Arrow Vision would not move. We knew it was getting power and it sounded like the gears were not connecting. This is a key operated Power Gear slide out. When we got to the drive shaft, we noticed a bushing on the side where the manual crank was located had worked itself loose, which dropped the shaft just enough where it was not making contact with the cogs (Figure 1). Placing the bushing back in place allowed the slide to extend out and back in. When we put the bushing back in place, we noticed there was a roll pin missing (Figure 2) which kept the bushing in place. It was no where to be found so we surmised that possibly it had never been there. Once that was replaced, the bushingwill not come loose and we shouldn't have any more issues for now.
