I have a 2007 Fleetwood Excursion DP. It has been very reliable. Have had some minor plumbing issues and the wall slide would not deploy one one occasion which required the slide controller to be reprogrammed. I have also had electric jack problems, mostly caused by operator error. I put the coach in gear with the jacks down. They started to retract as they are supposed to do but I had a jack down error code as a result. Also there are magnetic sensors on the jacks that tell the controller when the jacks are up. I had one of those fail. Had to go to Power Gear to get the part and to get instructions on how to clear the error code. They were very helpful. It is important to clean the jack legs when they are down so the magnetic sensor will do its job. Other than these small things, it has been a great coach.

We've owned our 1999 Southwind for a little over a year. WE LOVE IT..

We were looking at DPs specifically for coach build quality when we discovered that we could get the same coach quality built on a F53 chassis..

Cabinets are commercial grade. Design, materials, trim, and workmanship are excellent.

Aftermarket stuff, appliances, windows, slide mechanisms, levelers, are all top of the line.

I cannot comment on post 2009 or todays quality. If its the same as my 1999, they would be exceptional motorhomes
