Sounds like to have to reprogram your shade's upper and lower limits. These photos describe the steps. It is not hard to do, but if you dont follow the steps exactly, you have to start over. The programing switch on my Bounder in on driver side of front shade in the upper corner.

I have a 2014 33c. The shades are made by United Shade including the front motorized shade.

Shade Closure

Don't want to ask the dumb question , but is the RV in park ? If in gear it and the brake is not on ,it won't go down past the 1/3 level . Took me awhile to recognize that they didn't want you driving blindfolded !!

Ignition key on you have 5 seconds to program. It will always go up no matter the key position. Just won't go down. Of course, you realize that's good. Driving behind a shade is very difficult. Bottom line key off to work your shade.

The shade in my 08 Bounder was an Auto Motion Shade and only worked with the key on. I always lowered it while driving as a sun visor.

The above reprogram steps worked well on the front shade of my unit. Maybe the different shade manufacturers use similar reprogram steps.
