Providence Onan Genset 7.5 won't start

If we need to replace our coach batteries which ones should we buy?
After reading an older thread about an Onan Genset that isn't turning over...we think we should replace our batteries...
The gen was serviced a few days ago by an RV repairman...all new filters and fluids...but it wouldn't start for was having great difficulty starting for us the last few times we tried starting it prior to the service.
Many thanks...ML

What does your voltage read?
Is house disconnect on?
Have you tried aux battery switch just to see if it will crank?
I suggest AGM batteries in whatever group size you have and replace all.

I had the same problem, with my ginny, last week. It has always started for me when I needed it. Last week, it was very hot outside, and the dash AC wasn't cooling the coach very well. This happened for several days, while we were traveling from So. FL, to Virginia. I started it while we were traveling down the highway. Then, one day, I wanted to start the ginny, before we got on the road, but it wouldn't start. I tried from the driver's seat and even opened the hood, to check the oil level, which was ok (the ginny, will automatically shut down, if the oil is low). I found no problems under the hood, so I got back in the RV, and started the engine. With the engine running, I then tried the ginny and it started, with no problems. I don't know, why it wouldn't start, without the engine running, but from then on, I just continued to start the engine first.

All of my batteries are relatively new and I checked the water level, before I left home.

Which set of batteries starts the genny? Check them (voltages) and their connections carefully.
