Providence P42 Tag Axle

I have a 2013 Fleetwood Providence P42 motorcoach. It has a tag axle. Can anyone tell me if I can lift the tag, and if so, how do I accomplish this?

Im new to all this bit I'll go out on a limb. Its my understanding the Tag is not "lifted" on a MH as much as the Air is dumped to help "raise the tag" if you will for tight maneuvering. I believe its done to prevent dragging the tag in tight situations.. Hope im not to dead wrong...lol

O.K. So how do I dump the air. I don't see anything for doing that?

Unfortunately i dont know about fleet wood product . But on the entegra we are looking at.. Tag air is dumped automatically in reverse and there is also a manual switch on the drivers left panel

You TAG will automatically dump air when you put it in reverse. It will air up when you take it out of reverse. If you look along side the drivers side panel near your shifter will shold see a switch for raising the axle. Remember it only works while being held. If you let go of the switch it will air up again. Also if you are going faster then 5mph it won't lift. If it is "lifted" and you accelerate to more then 5mph, even if you are holding the switch, it will air up.

Hope this helps.

Tony is correct. We own a 42M, the switch must be depressed or it will air up pretty quickly. Really helps in tight CG maneuvers. PM me if you have any further question I'll be happy to try and help.
