I am preparing to make an offer on a 2008 Fiesta Lx 34n with all options except the Lcd tvs. List is $108,000. Any recent purchases on the Fiesta Lx. Where should my offer start?

Hi:WELCOME TO THE FORUM
I don't normally vote. Last votes i cast didn't seem to do much good!!! I bought a NEW 1 1/2 year old 35 ft class a in 2005 for 63k with only the delivery miles on it. In todays market just be FIRM 'cause IT"S your money. I would guess by your AU you are a tiger fan. My nephew graduated there dec-07...
Again... Welcome to the forum...

Autailgator,

I did not vote because it would be a guess and I always make them start with an honest offer to sell. If you have the desire and capacity to purchase, they will not let you walk away without an offer. A repeat of MSRP is a waste of time and would get me walking.

Once you have their first ligitimate offer, you will know where to start. If they don't want to give you a starting point, I would start with a number that would shock me if they said yes...remember that 08 will be at least 2 years old as the 2010 roll out this summer. It is still on their lot for a reason. Check the date codes on the tires as well.

You will enjoy the coach, it's a great rig. I voted, however; I would start with a low ball bid and go from there. As stated, it's your money, not theirs.

I won't Vote!
Why? Because in todays market you should start even lower!
Remember, the new coaches on that lot are costing the dealer 'Floor Plan Interest' every day they set there. Who Knows, You may have hit them just at the time that they can cut their losses best by giving you a deal!
The one thing I do know is: to make your best deal, you have to be willing to walk away. and to let them know that you know: that one is not the only one on the market.
Being too eager will cost you!!! JMHO!

The 2008 models I have seen on the web, (these were Fleetwood products) were running 35% off MSRP. For instance a $244k Providence going for $160K. I would definitely tell them no less than 35% and no dealer prep or any add-ons. It can be done, make the offer and then sit and wait them out while you shop the web and/or other dealers.

By the way, while shopping, I looked at a Fiesta LX, what an impressive MH for the cost!

I agree with Ron, no less than 35% off MSRP for a 2008. Our dealer, here in OH, had '08 Fleetwoods (Revolution, Discovery, Bounder) on eBay for 38% off - they didn't get any bids on them either. I see now they've put 2 of them back on at a higher price. Don't know what they're thinkin' listing higher since folks already saw them listed at lower prices & didn't take the bait, but hey, that's the "American Way".

In todays market, I'd offer $65,000.00 leave it at that. No add ons, etc...just tax title and license fees. Or offer maybe $70,000 out the door all taxes, title and license paid.

My 2 cents worth.

I paid a little over 75K for a 34G model that did not have as many options in March of last year. So your dealing with a year old model so high 60's with be a good starting price.
Happy Rving!
