Quartzsite Gathering???
As newbies, we are SO looking forward to joining the Quartzsite madness for a little over a month in January 2016. Does anyone know if there will be a Bounder group there and where it will be? Also, any info on BLM permits and how and when to buy them would be appreciated. I have read that "Honey Wagons" make the rounds to clean tanks and such. Anything to help prepare would help greatly!

My sister and her husband who live on the CA coast have gone to Quartzsite for the last 5 years. They have a group of about 6 others that all meet. Not sure where but I'm sure I'll find out quick.
House closes 28th & we hope to be heading south the 29th!

I'd hang out up north as long as possible with the southern heat at present.

Good point but we have to deliver some antique furniture to some family in South Carolina. Then the westward arc north.

I orchestrated a Bounder luncheon at Sweet Darlene's in Q a few years ago. Most attendees were from the Yahoo/Bounder forum. I made reservations and they were overwhelmed when we showed up. Sweet Darlene's had forgot about us.
The next year I tried working through the chamber of commerce. They had no idea who could accommodate us. I give up.
Wife and I will be there a few days before the big tent opens.
Any one want to organize a gathering? I'll show up.

Richard- I am sure I know you. I was just checking the IRV2 site and came across the Bounder section. We are still driving our 94' Bounder that we bought new. Just getting it broke in, 212,000 miles. See you at Quartzsite, we will park our usual spot unless we join the Escapees for a day or two.

Hi Kermit,
He He, Yup we'll be at Q again this year. We're still driving the only 95 Bounder with Ford Blue Ovals on both ends. Only this year our 460 has been stroked to 528". Catch me if you can. GRIN... Remind me again how many trannys that 460 has consumed.
See ya there.
