Question about ice maker water line

Due to a newbie winterizing error, the water valve for the automatic ice
maker froze and cracked . We don't plan on using the ice maker anyway and would like to just cap the water line. The photo below shows the area under the kitchen sink. There is an inline filter with a line coming out the top and a connection (red arrow) that branches up to the drinking water spigot on the sink and a line branching off to the right and down through the floor (yellow arrow). Does this line go to the ice maker to filter the water for making ice? If we cap that fitting or just put a straight fitting directly to the water spigot, would that cut off the water that would be going to the ice maker? Right now, if we turn on the pump, water is shooting out of the line that was attached to the water valve in the refrigerator access area on the outside of the rv.

You should be able to do what your asking. You would just need to cut the lines at the T and use a coupler like this - - > https://www.supplyhouse.com/Uponor-W...epair-Coupling

Just make sure you know the size of your tubing or better yet take a small section of the line running to the ice maker with you.

When we bought our 2003 PA from the original owner, the ice cube maker never worked - I shut the water line off going to the freezer - yours should have something similar - If I recall, the plastic shut off valve is located outside behind the plastic grill that covers the refrig unit - hope that helps --

Thanks for your replies. I couldn't find any kind of cut off, so I took that T-fitting out and made a straight run to the faucet. That took care of the leak and all the lines are still there in case we ever decide to replace the valve for the ice maker.
