Thumbs down Question about Silverleaf

If I buy the Silverleaf product can I just install it in my 38L 300 C7 (9 pin rigging) and get the readings. It does not have any gauges for Turbo Boost or Temperature, transmission temp, etc. I guess my real question is: Is the information being fed to the connector (are there senders in the needed locations) and I just need something to read it or will it be necessary to install senders/sensors also? It all sounds too easy. Probably means I don't understand it all.

I'm using the VMSpc on a netbook. I did have to modify the screen layout to get what I wanted, but if there's a sensor then the VMSpc can read it. No sensor then it can't be read. No, you don't have to install sensors.

How do you know if there is a sensor? Of course if you have a gauge for the function then you have a sensor. But if you do not have a gauge does that necessarily mean that there is no sensor? Or are the sensors there anyway and sending information that the tech can read when he attaches his equipment?
What I don't want to do is buy the Silverleaf and then find out that I cannot read a bunch of functions because I have to install sensors also.

For those interested. I called Silverleaf and they said that, at least for my engine, all of the data and senders are there even though the gauges are not. All I have to do is plug in the VMSpc.
