In my 35k I had to place the Sat receiver int he BR as FW in their ultimate wisdom ran both wires form the Sat Dish to this compartment.
And just as an FYI, only one of those wires will actually 'control' the dish. The other is like a read only of the incoming signal. It will not change the aiming of the dish so make sure you use the correct one.

So, I have 2 battery disconnect switches. I also have a solar panel on the roof which
I am assuming is trickle charging some or all batteries.

The question... Am I cutting off the connection from the solar panel to the batteries when I throw the disconnects?

No, the solar panel is connected thru the BCC. The battery disconnects only disconnect some things not all.
And regarding the solar panel, it's pretty much useless. IMHO it is more a marketing thing than anything. The output on that panel on the roof could barely charge a cell phone never mind 416AHs of batteries
