Rattling sliding windows, particularly driver's and passenger's

Hello-

The sliding windows by the front driver and passenger tend to rattle while driving. We got the rattle to stop by taking some small pieces of electrical tape and layering these small pieces on top of each other on the edge of the window, then sliding the window shut. Not very elegant, and the tape eventually stops working or falls off.

Does anyone have a more elegant/permanent solution to stop the rattling?

Me too

My driver and passenger windows rattle as well. Sure hope someone has a response.

In the meantime we've used folded up thin cardboard. Does it look tacky? Absolutely.

Yeah kinda surprised no one has answered yet. Fleetwood and its subsidiaries must have a billion of these "rattling" windows floating around. You'd think someone would have a solution!

Take the fuzzy side of valcro (the soft side) cut strip about 1/4 or 3/16 inch wide and about 1 inch and a half long and stick it in the top slide of window between window and slide, that is where the window will rattle, the bottom is usually secure by the glass weight. You can also put some in bottom.
This solve my rattling problem with my Fleetwood Fiesta.

Sounds like a great idea. Thanks.

My screen was rattling when not pushed fully back into the rear vertical track/slot. I used 2 small spacers glued to the front frame of the glass window so everytime i shut the glass it pushed the screen back into the slot.

What do you mean spacers?

Spacers are about 3/4" L x 1/2 dia glued to window frame. Takes up space between lip on frame and screen frame. Yours maybe different.

I guess what I should have said is what are you using as spacers? Do you have a link to where I could obtain some?
