Rear viewing screen not working

Have a 2012 35k with a mobilevision camera system. Was working fine. Screen went totally white.

The viewing screen is in a fiberglass case attached to top of dashboard. We are trying to get the camera out of the fiberglass case. And cannot figure out how. Has anyone removed this? Or had this problem? Any feedback is appreciated.

Well we got the monitor out of the case. Downloaded the material from the Internet for this model. Husband says he has power to the unit. We can get a menu screen....very faint. Picture is white.

Call mobilevision. The tech will tell you how to do a full reset by going to a sub menu. I think it's to hold the menu button for 5 seconds. From there you can do a full reset. Anyway, the tech will tell you what's wrong. I didn't have the plastic to extract the monitor from the top. Used two pieces of aluminum step flashing to pry it out at the top.

Well the good news is we determined the problem. Bad news, the monitor screen went bad. Has to be replaced. Found online for less than the manufacturer could sell to us. On order. Hope it installs with no problem.
