Rear Wheel Oil found and Speedometer

Two fold post.

I have new to me 2005 American Tradition Coach. I did a search with the VIN and found a spot where it said I have a Spartan Chassis, Mountain Master. How or where can I confirm this and get a parts diagram for the chassis? The reason I ask is today I found old in the valley of the right rear outside wheel. I called Spartan and was informed that its a wheel seal at the flange. I don't know if its a DYI job or if I need a shop to do that type of work.

2nd part - My digital odometer on the speedometer is very hard to read. Is there a good source for replacement or repair?

Thanks in advance. Love the Forum.

The rear outer axle seal is pretty simple. Remove the bolts or nuts, pull the axle out and swap the old seal ( gasket ) for the new one and torque the bolts/nuts to specs.

U Tube videos will be helpfull with showing how to do the job.

Your post would indicate that you have a bad gasket, not a seal. Remove the axle, clean all surfaces and apply gray RTV designed for differential grease. Easy DIY job.

I believe you do have the Mountain Master Chassis.

Here is a maintenance schedule and a drawing of the chassis itself.
