Refrigerator Automatic Door Latch

We have a 2014 Bounder 35K with a Dometic RM1350IM refrigerator. I was reading the refrigerator manual and came across a section describing an automatic door latch that engages when the engine is running. I assume this feature keeps the doors locked while driving in the event of excessive body roll so the doors won't open and dump the contents. However, while driving we have opened the frig several times and didn't have to manually unlock the door as the manual describes. I would test the out myself but our coach is currently at the dealer being serviced. Can someone tell me if this feature is enabled in the 2014 Bounder? If this is supposed to work I want to have it looked at by the dealer before our warranty expires in December. Thanks, Rick

Rscott, I have this fridge. I cannot open fridge while driving unless I slide the lock lever. It will automatically lock again after closing. If you have this lock, it will be located at the center of the fridge, between the freezer and fridge doors.

Thanks for the picture. Now that I have seen a picture of the automatic latch version, I have determined I have the manual latch version. The frig included a plastic clip to use to keep the doors from closing for airing it out when not in use. This is only used with the manual latch version. So it looks like all is working normally. Thanks.
