Remove Audiovox Voyager radio

In our 2005 Pace Arrow we have an in dash Audiovox Voyager Cassette/CD Stereo radio. I need to pull it out to check some wiring. I have the two DIN removal pins (one for each side), but when I insert them, I can't budge the radio. Is there a trick to getting the radio out?

Push them in as far as they will go. Then push them apart and push the radio in before you try to 'walk' it out a bit at a time.

I ended up using 4 rather large nails because the locks would not disengage with anything smaller.
