Repair of storage door hinges

I have tried to locate the clips that keep the doors of the storage compartments from sliding for and aft with no success. I got down on the wet cold ground today and still can not figure what is wrong. Can someone take a photo and post it showing the clips or at least where they are located? Thanks, Roger

Roger.
I remember reading the same thread about the basement doors shifting.
Must be something to do with trying to find the clip, I had to change out of the muddy clothes before I was let inside
I havent found the clip either, I will follow this close, It's better than wallering in the mud
Larry

Mail boundersounder@msn.com. Ask Pat to send you a copy of my article on these matters. It has a few pix of the clips. Suggest you subscribe to the Bounder Sounder. It's low cost and full of good info. Ask Pat about it - he's the publisher.

When I try to email Pat It tells me cannot locate, check spelling. Found Boundersounder site, but saw no articles on the doors. Thanks Roger

I found the following about door hinges I don't know how old the artical is (prices) but this nis the answer in Bounder news letter.

I have been suffering (literally) with a basement door that won’t stay up, and clonks me on the noggin at
least three times per rally. I haven’t replaced the gas spring because I couldn’t find it listed in the books at the
auto store. Only recently, I found that Fleetwood would supply us with parts directly at a MOST reasonable
price. The only kink, as minor as it may be, is that you can only get to the parts desk by contacting the help
line first, at the above number, then ask for PARTS. The gas spring I needed was only $9. The centering clip,
the item that keeps the basement doors from sliding fore and aft, was 40 cents – I bought five!! Such a deal.
One of the best connections I ever made

This article is less than a year old. I wrote it. Buy a number of these clips, at the price you'll be kicking yourself if you don't. Larry has the key piece of info. the part you need is a CENTERING CLIP. As soon as you have it in your hand, it will be very apparent where it goes.
Happy motoring.

OK... Called Fleetwood today and spoke to a very nice lady. She knew exactly what I needed and they will be sent out today along with a few other things I needed to make it a 20.00 order to save freight. They are called luggage door stops part #329919 at .46 cents each. Thanks to all for the help. Roger
