Replacing Wiper blades on Bounder.

I have an '05 Bounder and need to replace the wiper blades. The blade mounts to the arm with two philips screws. The extension that is connected to the blade is riveted on, can't be removed. Has anyone replaced their blades? Do the shade tree mechanic joints (NAPA, Autozone, Kragen, etc) sell them or do I have to go to a specialty wiper supplier someplace?

Thanks for any help.

Rich,

Thanks for the info. The NAPA here in Brawley, CA. doesn't carry them but I will be checking out a CW when I head north in a month or so. Their on-line catalog doesn't show them. The problem I'm having is locating the two screw adaptor used to connect the blade to the arm.

In the mean time, I drilled out the rivet on mine and using stainless screws, mounted them to a couple of Rainex blades. They'll work but I'll get two more just for backups.

Thanks for your input.

Paul

we replaced our blades on our '04 bounder , i got the blades from wal-mart!!! , i took the 2 philips off and used a neddle nose plyers and pulled out the blade part from the houseing ,, i then took the blade part from the new blade houseing and put it onto the old houseing ,, it took about 30 min. to do both total cost was $15.00 compared to the almost $50

Hello,
I have a 2000 BounderDP, and just replaced the wiper blades that I got from Campers World. The blades came with the right attachments. They also have seperate attachments for the blades. If you buy the blades they have you shouldn't need anything extra.

There is an adpter kit #48-17 that ANCO Wiper Products makes. It mounts to your present arms with screws that are included. Then you can purchase the standard blades. I believe the number is 91-26. 91 is the series number 26 is the lenght of your blade.

John

Just retired from Anco after 45 years.
