reservoir tank for levelling jacks?

I have a 1990.5 34' Bounder. My levelling jacks are working - as I recall, they're HWH brand. But for the life of me I've tried tracing lines back to a reservoir and pump and can not find it. I'm probably staring at it and not knowing what I'm staring at. It appears lines all go somewhere behind driver side front wheel. Also, what type of fluid should i use in the reservoir assuming I ever find it.

Thanks in advance.

A couple of times I've had to track the location by the sound of the pump.
Have someone run the pump while you listen for the noise.
Resivoir is 6" H x 8"W X12"L , pump and solinoids mounted to the top. Mine has a chrome cap, check with everything fully retacted.
Manual says DexronII, or any high quality trans fluid ( date on manual is 1996 ) Dexron II is on longer made so it think you'll need III or IV.

HWH Levelling Jacks Reservoir Tank Location

I have a 1994 Fleetwood Coronado with HWH levelling jacks and the reservoir is located on the passenger side above and forward of the front wheel well. The reservoir is about a 7" diameter horizontal cylinder with a filler cap mounted on top. Check HWH website for the recommended type of hydraulic fluid. I seem to recall I had used an automatic transmission fluid (red in colour).

Word of Caution, make sure your levelling jacks are retracted in the normal storage position when adding the hydraulic fluid. My levelling jacks were down when I checked the fluid level, so it appeared the fluid level was low (because the fluid flows down to the extended jacks) and I topped-up the fluid to the full mark. However when I started my motorhome and retracted the jacks, all the excess fluid spurted out of the filler cap onto the underside of the motorhome and all over my driveway!

It was a difficult job to remove the red oily residue from the concrete driveway. Luckily I had a large bag of absorbent material to soak up the oil and shovel it into plastic garbage bags, and then used an engine degreaser to remove the remaining oil residue.

I hope this will be of some help to you, Good Luck!

I just saw the same thing happen to an older couple we met at Cherry Creek CG in Denver. They were having trouble getting the slide to go in on the old RV they'd just bought. Some park volunteers were trying to help them figure out why it wouldn't go in and they found the reservoir low. So, they topped it off. Then they found a bad connection on the solenoid. Once that was fixed, the slide started coming in and the fluid began pouring out all over the RV pad. What a mess.
