Revolution questions?

Haven't driven one yet, but looking at Revolutions. First off, what's the pros and cons on the LE chasis and the "not" LE chasis?
How's the ride in the Revolutions? I have a 4 bag roadmaster chasis, and looking for a better/smoother ride.
Anything to watch for in purchasing a Revolution? Pros or cons......thanks. appreciate the input.
Brian

I'm not sure what you mean by the "LE chassis" or "not LE chassis". The Revolution LE is built on Fleetwood's Liberty chassis, which is their patented, custom version of a Spartan chassis. Basically a Spartan front and rear with Fleetwoods unique middle rails. It's the same chassis as the high end American Tradition & Eagle coaches, except it has a solid I-beam front axle instead of an IFS.

The ride should be better than your Roadmaster RR4 chassis, but that's largely a matter of perception.

This is just a guess, but the pre-"LE"'s may have been on a FL chassis. Robbie

Yes - older Revs were on the Freightliner XC Stacked Rail chassis. According to the 2004 Revolution brochure, that year was Freightliner.

I was told the easiest way to spot the Spartan Chassis on the Revolution is the one piece windshield.

The earlier Revolutions on the Freightliner chassis had a split 2 piece windshield.

There is also "LE" on the motorhome name "Revolution LE" easy to see. I also believe the LE also moved to the side radiator with the Spartan Chassis. I have an LE and it drives and handles like a car, I test several different brands when I was looking and was really impressed with the LE chassis. Also Spartan customer support is outstanding, if I had a maintenance question, they made sure I had the answer before I hung up.
