American Coach: Roof Vents Leaking

Recently we went though about five hours of extremely heavy and blowing rain and thunderstorms. All three of our roof vents leaked, the rear the worst with water all over the toilet. All were securely tightened. When we got to our CG, I climbed on the roof with a hose and sprayed them with water...no leaks. I turned the water hose on full, put my thumb over the end of the hose and blasted them...all three leaked again. The vents appear to be sealed around the outside at the top. From the inside it was not possible to see where any of the water was coming in.

Suggestions appreciated.

How about this- dust a little talcum powder all around the vent while it's wide open. Close it, spray the heck out of it until it leaks. Check for waterlines after you finish spraying. Lots of luck and take it from there.
