Running lights
My running lights on a 2014 FW Excursion will not go out. Key is out of the ignition, I've fooled with all the possible light switches. What am I missing? Help!

I've had s light go out on me, but never refuse to turn off...I'm sure someone will know what to do. I think I would disconnect battery and see if it fixes when I reconnect. Have you tried anything else?

Ive tried disconnecting the batteries. Works while the batteries are off - but they come right back on as soon as I turn the batteries back on. I'll call Fleetwood on Monday.

Somewhere, you have a DRL relay and the points must be stuck closed. If you can find that relay (its part of the chassis circuit) pull the relay and the lights will go off. The relay is available at most auto parts stores.

DRL relay , feeds only the head lights not the running ( park ) lights , but the info on a sticking relay is correct. Look for a fuse or relay in the chassis wiring marked park or running, either will shut things down, but it's the relay that has probably stuck.

I assumed we were referring to daytime running lights rather that clearence/ marker lights. Debbie did you confirm that the headlight switch was in the off or auto position? Those lights arn't wired through the ignition switch.

Sorry , I assumed running/ marker/ park lights ; not DRL.
Guess we need a little clarification, from the OP.

I am talking about the top lights - kinda hard to see here because it's now light, but the top lights. I don't have a toad and am here until Oct 6. Any chance I'm going to drain my battery? I am hooked up to 50 amp service, if that matters. Thanks

This may or may not help you, but I had as similar issue on my Spartan chassis discovery. It turned out to be a failed body control computer.i know that you have a freightliner chassis, but I would check into the body control module as I am sure they use similar components.I hope that you are still under warranty as the module is about $1K.

Many coaches have a momentary switch on the dash, forget how it's labeled for sure (ICC?), but it's used to flash the clearance lights as an acknowledgment to fellow drivers that have flashed their headlights at you, letting you know you have clearance to complete your pass. Anyway, that switch is likely connected to the same relay being considered here.
Wonder if it might be a good idea to try that a few times with the ign. switch on and off?

I did the CCC switch - didn't help. Yes, the coach is still under warranty. That's the good thing!
