Screen Door to Regular Door Latch

The latch that holds the screen door to the regular door just broke again. About $20 to buy another one. Has anyone come up with a better solution?

I got tired of the screen door coming loose from the door. Installed this and no more problems.

I replace mine once a year approx. $8 at a local RV dealer. Show them a picture and they knew what it was. They order them in bulk because they break all the time. I believe they are Atwood screen door latches. Latest location a few weeks ago was Findlay RV in Vegas

Mine is 7 years old. Never has broke. I readjusted the catches for a proper fit. All parts are greased every year. And we gently close the doors together. Don't slam! It's only plastic.
