Seeking Guru Knowledge

2005 37U Bounder diesel, 300 cat.
I'm not real sure if dementia is setting in or I'm just stumped. I have residential frig. plugged into inverter line along with microwave and 1 other 110 plug up under cabinet by passenger seat. These are connected to 20 amp breaker on my Xantrex Freedom Inverter. All but 3 other outlets in the coach are connected to the 15 amp breaker on Xantrex (bathroom, bedroom, end of kitchen counter, and above cabinets on slide) Then there are 3 outlets straight 110 outlets (must be plugged in or on Gen)
I was wanting to turn frig off without pulling drawer out and unplugging it. So I just turned inverter off at control panel by door. "Still have power to frig and microwave" OK, turn off aux battery. Nope! Turn off main battery, Nope! (but overhead lights went out.) Hm.... So went out and turned off inverter at the inverter unit itself, Nope!
Finally with everything else on, I shut off 20 amp breaker and that killed power to frig and microwave...... Why does just turning off breaker not kill all power to everything wired to it????? Am I missing something?

Can you post your electrical schematic/drawing so we can see how everything is connected?

sorry I don't have any type of electrical schematic/drawing. It appears that somehow that electrical leg is wired direct from the 20 amp breaker on the inverter without being tied into the inverter. Like I said I can kill power to that leg by turning off the small breaker that's on the face of the Xantrex Freedom 458 inverter. But turning off inverter itself does not kill that leg.

Some inverters switch to 120V passthrough power from the 30/50A pedestal when the inverter function is switched off. Read your manual if you have one, or look up online.

Sounds like you are plugged into shore power, otherwise shutting down the inverter would remove all power. When inverter is off shore power goes through the inverter to convenience outlets on my RV.

Both shore power or generator power pass thru the inverter, regardless of the inverters switchs.

The inverter only goes online when there is no outside power from shore or generator.
