Shower Faucet Replacement

Another day, another question.

I need to repair the shower faucet in my 2016 Bounder 35K. The fittings are between the shower wall and the closet wall. I've take out the screws holding the closet wall panel but have been unsuccessful removing it. Maybe it's glued in place? I've read other threads where someone said their RV tech cut a hole in the closet panel. That seems a bit extreme. Does anyone have any suggestions? The leaking is coming from the black T on the shower side of the wall but I can't get it out either.

In my southwind, there’s a cover in the hallway. . In you case, that panel should come out. Feel along the edges for screw heads. Unscrew them and use a flat tool to pull away the panel.

The screws are for the rear panel. This will give you access to the drain and water source for the washer/dryer. No access there for the shower. Well, at least not in my '16 35K.
This leads me to believe it needs to be cut away to access the shower controls. Fleetwood engineers at their best.
Also, if what you were thinking is to remove the panel on the left where the shower controls are then you would need to remove the cabinet front. I have and don't recall seeing any screws behind there that would allow that left panel to be removed.
There is a cutout below near the floor to access the drain.

I just replaced the shower faucet in our 2006 Bounder 38N and had to remove a mirror that covered access to the water lines and connections to the faucet.

If you are sure the lines are behind what appears to be a felt-covered thin sheet of plywood, you should be able to insert a putty knife under the edge of the plywood and work it slowly loose. You should then be able to insert a larger pry bar. The original installers may have applied some double sided tape to hold the panel in place.

Hi, I removed that panel when I put in my W/D. It was basically prying it out. But the panels have been installed in a way that you have to take one panel off to get to the edge of another. There are tiny nails holding mine in which need to find those and pry near them. It’s a good thing we took that panel off because my water connection behind the shower was leaking! I wish I could remember it more clearly but I do remember they are hard to pull out. I believe we had to remove the top panel first to get to the edges and the back panel
