Shurflow water pump
I have a 1997 Pace Arrow. The water pump won't turn off it shuts off under the proper pressure but if I was to have a leak or something I would have to disconnect the battery. I have changed 2 switches. 1 in the cleanout station and the 1 above the stove. Didn't solve my problem. Any ideals out there would b greatly appreciated. Thanks

You probably didn't need to change the switches, just take them out of the circuit (remove the wire) and check (meter) to see if they open and close. I'm not too familiar with your coach but there's probably one more switch, the one in the bathroom that you didn't mention. Just thinkin' here.

Disconnect the wires at the pump and at all switches then put an ohmeter on the leads at the pump and check to see if you have continuity, if you do have continuity you have a short between those wires. It could be worn from rubbing, could be a screw recently placed somewhere which hit those leads and shorted them and it may be tough to locate.

That is what I have to control the pump. I have three switches that connect to this relay device and turn on the pump.
The pump however is cycled on and off by the pressure switch not the pump switches.
System could have a small leak or an air pocket that allows the pressure to drop when the pump cycles off.

Sounds like a rebuild kit is in order

The switches are not related to the problem, nor is the pump controller relay. They just work together to provide 12v power to the pump. They can switch it off, but cannot make it run. The pressure switch that activates the pump motor is in the pump itself, and it responds to low water pressure, typically anything less than 40-45 psi. If yours won't shut off, you have a leak somewhere and the pump cannot build enough pressure to shut off. If not a leak in the pipes, then it's probably the internal check valve in the pump, allowing water to flow back into the tank.
Before you go too far, if you ahve a city water fill valve, make sure it is in the Use position instead of Fill. If that valve is set to fill, water flows out of the pump and right back into the tank. If your Pace only fills the tank via gravity flow instead of a city fill valve, ignore this last part.

One of the momentary switches is probably the problem. If a switch is stuck in the on position, it won't let the signal drop so one of the other switches can signal the pump controller. Every time you push one of the momentary switch, it sends a ground signal to the controller causing it to change state from on to off or off to on. Remove the stitches one at a time and check it with an ohm meter. There should be 3 switches. You didn't mention the one in the bathroom, which usually gets the most service. You have already proven that the pressure switch is working.

I have not found a switch in the bathroom. And went looking for that other switch box couldn't find that either. Don't know what to do. Someone else mentioned that the pump will work as it should but there is a switch built inside that probably went bad. I will admit I'm not good at troubleshooting electrical.

It's pretty much normal for Fleetwood products to have a water pump switch close to the commode. I'll let you envision the scenario of not have a water pump switch close to the commode. GRIN
