Slide issue

on my drivers side living room slide wont go out. Once before it would not go in. I was able to use a jumper wire to bring it in then it worked. and I think I can get it out when i need this way. So I know motor is good what else should I be checking.

I had a fleetwood prior to my present coach. As I recall there was a slide control out of view? I believe it was above the fridge. I have seen them under drawers and other odd places. It allowed me to adjust the amount of power that went to the slide motor. An electrical diagram of your rig might help you locate this control if you have one. I'm not saying this is your issue but it might be worth checking out.

Don't know where you put the jumper, but sounds like you bypassed the controller that's most likely equipped with a current limiting device.
I know that on ours, things have to be just right and level for them to work and not like they have any extra power whatsoever for tearing anything up.
Wondering if your driver's side is the slowest of the lot, like ours is and we have 3?
You might find the controller by calling AC and/or check your manual for some adjustments, as has already been suggested.
