Question Slide makes chattering noise w/ activated

Hello all
Maybe someone has experienced this and can offer a cure or advice:

2006 Fleetwood Excursion 3 slides

When I attempted to put out the galley passenger side slide yesterday, it went out about 14" and then started chattering as though I had a broken gear in the gearbox. Contacted powergearus.com the mfg of the apparatus that makes the slide operate ( electrical ) They won't talk to you on the phone, just let you email! They sent me a manual that indicated in the troubleshooting section, that I needed to adjust the anti-jump bolt...but they couldn't tell me where it is.
From the diagram provided...it looks like this....a long shaft...cut in half with the motor and gearbox in the middle, and a gear on each end. It appears as the gears on each end are not making good contact and hence the " jumping "
Anybody experienced this and can tell me what and how to adjust ???
I'm a recent newby and very impressed by the wealth of info available here....Thanks

I had the same chatter on my one slide’s I took someone’s advice and used carnauba wax on the underside of the slides while it was out, after 3 coats it moves without any chattering. The slides move on Teflon pads and I noticed that the bottom of the slide had witness marks from the pads this is where you want the wax. Using the wax worked very well for me.

Hi
Just want to clarify this problem....when it makes the chattering or jumping noise...the room stops moving...won't go in or out.. Working on it again today..will let you know the results. It is not the motor or attached gearbox as the dealer tried to assume ( a $600 part I ordered and now they say they won't install it because I bought it from Fleetwood and did not buy it thru them ) NOTE: Never order parts until you're sure what the problem is !! stay tuned..

Well Well....took it to camping world and they installed the motor/gearbox. The original had a large hole in it and the gear literally fell out !! Am told this is a frequent problem and get this ...total cost was $974 ooouch !!!
