Slide not Working

On my 2000 Pace Arrow 33v the rear slide won't come in. I can hear the motor running but nothing happens. I have looked all over for an access panel where I can get to the drive gears, but can't find it. Does anyone have a drawing or owner's manual showing where it is. We have been sitting since Sept 20th and all was fine when I put it out, didn't hear any popping or binding. It's a mystery to me what has happened! Any help greatly appreciated, I don't want to have to call a repair guy for something I can do, if I can find the gear box..

Pddgm,

The slide mechanism could be under your bed if your rear slide is like mine.
Raise bed to access storage area and you will find a panel that can be unscrewed.

It'll probably either be a 3/16" roll pin broken or a bolt 1/4" x 1.5".

After removing a box in the closet and looking under the bed, I finally found the gear drive in a small storage bin. I finally got enough light in there to see and sure enough the shear pin was broken. Found a lever on the motor that disconnected it from the shaft making it easier to turn. Got the holes aligned and punched the old pin thru till it was sticking out the other side, flipped the lever and tried the slide, it works, so now going to town to find a pin and install it. Thanks for all the help and I know I just saved myself over 100.00 in repair bills. Now wonder what is going to break next...LOL

Aren't we smart? That will be zero cost to you because we are Fleetwood and Irv2 pals.
